A Look Back At Our Highlights Of 2024

From editorials for iconic fashion brands to critically acclaimed TV shows, we reflect on a year of incredible projects made possible by our diverse range of unique shoot locations…

British Vogue

The October issue of British Vogue featured Florence Pugh in a stunning retro-inspired shoot at our exclusive property, ‘Sydenham Lodge’. This amazing mid-century house provided the perfect backdrop with its authentic 70s breakfast bar, open wooden staircase, and vintage furnishings. A standout image from the shoot captured Florence by the outdoor swimming pool, beautifully showcasing ‘Sydenham Lodge’‘s retro California vibe (in South East London!). You can see more of the shoot in our blog post On Location at Sydenham Lodge.

Bad Sisters

The highly anticipated second season of Bad Sisters debuted on Apple TV this November, bringing the lovable and chaotic Garvey sisters back to our screens in this darkly comedic drama. The Merman Production team returned to ‘Stanmore Hill’, which once again served as the home of JP’s mother, Minna Williams (played by Nina Norén). Though its appearances are brief, this modernist house, with its distinctive timber-clad exterior and light-filled interiors, leaves a lasting impression.

Burberry

Burberry’s Christmas campaign, #WrappedInBurberry, utilised the timeless elegance of our exclusive shoot location, ‘Brentwood Stately’, to showcase its latest collection. The campaign highlighted the property’s beautifully preserved period features, including original marble fireplaces, intricate wood paneling, and grand columns, which served as a sophisticated backdrop perfectly complementing Burberry’s luxurious aesthetic for the festive season.

Ludwig

In September, the comedy-mystery series Ludwig premiered on BBC, prominently featuring our mid-century shoot location, ‘Ham Yard’. Serving as the home of Lucy Betts-Taylor (played by Anna Maxwell Martin), the property’s distinctive design makes it a standout location in the series. With the show’s success and ‘Ham Yard’’s pivotal role, we’re hopeful the production will return to this unique shoot location for an eagerly anticipated second season.

John Lewis

For their Give Knowingly Christmas campaign, John Lewis selected South West London’s ‘Tarragon’ as the perfect shoot location. The home’s vibrant and patterned interiors create a perfect balance between bold maximalism and stylish refinement, brimming with personality and character. ‘Tarragon’’s spacious kitchen, elegant dining area, and cozy bedroom provided a warm and charming backdrop, beautifully capturing the essence of thoughtful giving in true John Lewis style.

Baby Reindeer

The Netflix series Baby Reindeer, based on the gripping true story of a man’s encounter with an obsessive stalker, made a significant impact this year. Among the locations featured in the show is our shoot location, ‘King William’, a converted pub in London’s Southwark borough. The series utilised the property’s converted apartment to depict the home of Francis (played by Hugh Coles), a close friend of the show’s protagonist, Donny (played by Richard Gadd).
