We’re experiencing a warehouse renaissance here at the Fresh Locations agency, with lots of interest in these unique settings.
Although we tend to think of them as vast, raw and edgy – our London location library has a wide selection of different warehouse filming locations to match your brief – from stylish domestic settings to unrestored industrial buildings to polished studio spaces. And they’re proving popular for a wide range of shoots, from film to fashion.
When it comes to the raw warehouse look, we have some incredible spaces in our library of hand-picked London locations. There’s the austere, ultra-minimal ‘ Walpole ’ shoot location in London W4, with its concrete, exposed metal and clean lines. There’s a similar warehouse at ‘ Rainhill Studios’ filming location in Bow, E3 and, at 33,000 square feet, it’s one of several different settings offered at this former print works, alongside various workspace looks.
Meanwhile, at the ‘ Sorting Office’ in the borough of Kensington and Chelsea, there’s a truly unique warehouse look that includes walls painted in bold shades of pink and red and
miles of silver-coloured tubes and piping that suggest all kinds of futuristic and dystopian scenarios. Another warehouse that has quite a different mood is ‘ Greenwich Joinery’ in
London SW10. Part of a converted boatyard, it has a historic, almost Dickensian feel with lots of raw timber and exposed brick – it brings bags of character to any shoot.
We often have exciting temporary additions to our London locations library, when spaces are waiting for planning permission. It’s a brilliant way to capitalise on a property asset
while you’re waiting for approval – so do talk to us if you’re in that situation – they make the very freshest of locations! Currently we have the hyper-real ‘ Lexus Warehouse’ on our books. It’s a large filming location in NW London featuring many versatile spaces, from warehouse to office, complete with a good selection of furniture in situ.
As well as the rough-around-the-edges look, we also feature some truly beautiful warehouse locations including The Chocolate Factory , in London SE1 where we have not
one, but two, stunning locations. This first is a dedicated shoot space with decorative red brick walls and red cast iron columns supporting massive beams. Huge arched windows
allow daylight to flood in. Meanwhile, upstairs in the same building, is our Chocolate Factory 2 location, with the same period features but this time configured an open-plan
venue, kitted out with hip, rough-luxe furniture reminiscent of a private members club, with comfy velvet sofas in a tranquil palette of pinks, blues and greens.
Meanwhile we can offer a fabulous selection of warehouse homes, including ‘ Bow Factory’ location house in London E14, a beautifully converted factory featuring some of the highest ceilings we’ve ever seen in a residential space and 25ft high windows. The décor is very on-trend with a nod to the building’s industrial heritage – it’s no surprise that it recently featured in top interiors magazine LivingEtc . Among our many other residential warehouse gems is ‘ Steele ’ in London, E14. This gorgeous home covers around 2,000 square feet and has a more minimalist, brutalist vibe. Large Crittall windows flood the space with light, but the option for full blackout is available too.
So within our locations library, there’s a warehouse shoot location to meet every need – talk to our team of experts and we’ll make the search easy for you.
